Danish Consulate General – Commercial and Innovation Sectors


The Trade Council and the Danish Innovation Centre are both agencies of the Foreign Affairs Ministry, based on Danish Diplomatic Missions around the world. The organization in São Paulo seeks for two trainees to work with commercial and innovation projects.


The trade Council advises Danish companies to establish themselves in Latin America, in technology & creativity, agro & food, health and wellness, energy & environment sectors.


The Danish Innovation Centre aims to promote partnerships and collaboration in research, innovation and technology among the higher education institutions; research centres and Danish companies and their peers in Brazil, as well the governments.


Main Tasks:

- Market research: development and promotion of informative materials, search for commercial partners for Danish companies and relationship with sectors’ association;

- Legislative and Commercial researches: clipping & news, follow-up of legislative production and other subjects related to political and market intelligence analysis;

- Social Medias management and development of digital content;

- Assistance in collaborative projects between Brazilian and Danish governments.

- Events & innovation division’s visits organisation

- Translation, research and support throughout consulate activities;

- Weekly support at the consulate reception for a few hours, including activities such telephone and personal contacts, etc.



- Excellent Portuguese writing;

- Fluent English (spoken and written) is essential;

- Preference for students until the 3rd year;

- Preference for following study areas: International Relations, Foreign Trade, Communication, Economics and Political Sciences.


Salary: R$ 1.673,00 + R$481,00 (alimentation support in cash).

Working hours: 30h/week (9h to 16h).
